We are planning to offer the following WISE programs: June-26 WISE: June 22 to July 2, 2026 (in person at the Waksman Institute), August-26 WISE: July 27 to August 7, 2026 (in person at the Waksman Institute), 2026 vWISE: August 10 to August 21, 2026. (On-line only)
NOTE: Applications for the 2026 programs will open in January 12, 2026.
How to apply:
- Only online applications will be accepted. The applications will be found here.
- Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and acceptances will be made on a rolling basis.
- Each WISE program is competitive and acceptance is limited.
- We reserve the right to cancel this program if it is under enrolled.
What will the applications ask?
In addition to background information, the online application will ask you for:
- Name and email address of your high school guidance counselor.
- Name and email address of a high school biology teacher and/or science teacher who can verify your current enrollment in, or completion of, their course(s).
- Electronic copy of your current report card, if you are in 10th grade in September 2027. If you are in 11th or 12th grade in September 2027 you are asked to submit an electronic copy of your current transcript.
- A 200 word personal statement describing your interest in science.
- Verification that you be able to attend all sessions and that the program does not overlap school or a planned vacation.
